JLF @ Boulder Boulder, Colorado promises to be an event unlike any other. JLF is a Festival about Ideas - using the vehicle of literature - rather than merely being a Festival about books. Free and accessible to everyone, rich with words and ideas, the festival invites us join together in examining the human experience through the reflections and imaginations of distinguished authors from around the world. This year's Festival, "The Pulse of World Literature," will bring together Indian-American, Asian, Latin American and local authors to engage in conversations around a diverse array of themes that important to our region. Authors and Festival participants will engage in conversations around themes such as human migration; politics and conflict; fracking, famine and water conservation; the poetic imagination; and Native American voices.

As a JLF Boulder volunteer, you will be an integral part of making these conversations happen. Volunteers are needed to help make sure our authors are well taken care of and arrive at their venues on time. Volunteers ensure that all of the Festival grounds are inviting, well maintained and ready for action. Volunteers will handle registration and information tables, oversee book-signing opportunities, assist press and media representatives, and provide support to Festival organizers in a host of other ways.
