ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival @ Boulder

JLF@Boulder 2016

September 23rd - 25th, 2016
Boulder Public Library

We would like to invite you to volunteer with the 2016 Jaipur Literature Festival @ Boulder!

The Jaipur Literature Festival @ Boulder will be held September 23-25 at the Boulder Public Library's Main Branch (1001 Arapahoe Ave) and adjacent outdoor spaces. Festival pre-events will begin on July 6.

JLF @ Boulder is a Festival about Ideas - using the vehicle of literature - rather than merely being a Festival about books. The Festival will bring together American, Asian, European Middle Eastern, Latin American and local authors to engage in conversations with participants around a diverse array of themes that important to our region - such as resiliency, conservation, gender, human migration, politics and elections....

As a JLF Boulder volunteer, you will be an integral part of making these conversations happen.
Volunteers help to make sure our authors and artists are well taken care of and arrive at their venues on time. Volunteers ensure that all of the Festival grounds are inviting, well maintained and ready for action. Volunteers manage the venues, welcoming panelists and Festival-goers, managing set-up and and keeping the program on time. Volunteers handle registration and information tables, oversee book-signing opportunities, assist press and media representatives, and provide support to Festival organizers in a host of other ways. Last year, more than 100 people volunteered their time and energy to make the inaugural Festival a success.

We still have a number of volunteer opportunities to be worked in shifts:
Venue Ushers; Volunteer Room Monitors, Book Signing Monitors, Festival Greeters; Registration; Information/Lost & Found Desk.

A detailed list of volunteer tasks can be found below. Thank you for volunteering with JLF@Boulder!
